If you are looking for a last minute snack or table decoration for a school party or Thanksgiving, this easy tepee may be just what you need. I made these for my son's "Native American Day" at school. To make, simply take a cellophane treat bag and fill with popcorn or other treats. Tie the top with rope or string. Next, I used paper grocery sacks from the grocery store to make a cone shape (I love FREE). The size of your cone will depend on the height of your treat bag. I just measured and played around with it a bit. Staple or tape the cone in the back. Next, cut a slit in the front of your paper cone and fold the flaps back. You can let the kids draw Indian pictographs on the tepee to decorate it. That's it! Easy peasy and super thrifty!
